Amlan Das Gupta is an Economist whose work relates to the economic aspects of life in developing countries. His particular interest is in food security, nutrition and behavioral aspects of food demand. He obtained his Ph.D in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics at University of British Columbia in Canada in 2014. His Masters degree is from Indian Statistical Institute Delhi.
He has taught at various institutions which include Indian Statistical Institute Delhi, Drake University in Des Moines USA and Institute of Financial Management and Research in India.
