Qambar is a doctoral candidate at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His thesis work examines the effect of creditor-friendly regulatory reforms on court supervised corporate reorganization process outcomes. His independent area of research interest is on mutual funds and investor biases. Prior to the doctoral programme, he has worked in the financial services industry for seven years, mostly as a research analyst with a focus on algorithmic asset allocation models. In his latest industry assignment, he ran an independent advisory firm with European buy-side firms as clients. Qambar has completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and Chemical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
