Ruchika Jain-Bala is Assistant Dean of Development at Jindal School of Banking & Finance. She has 6+ years of global work experience in India, Canada and USA in education, non-profit and consumer product goods industry. She started her career as an engineer in Xerox – $18 billion multinational corporation – and went to take challenging roles. She has served for two years in low-income communities as a Teach for India fellow and fellow advisor, a highly selective fellowship program. She graduated with an M.B.A. from #1 business school in Canada, Schulich School of Business. She was also a founding administrative member for Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities in 2014. She has served on the board of a Toronto-based non-profit organization, HOPE Volleyball during her MBA.
Her primary interests are using consumer insights to shape marketing strategy of companies and help them grow. Prior to joining OPJGU, she worked as a Category Analyst for a multi-million dollar brand at Hain Celestial Canada, leader in healthy food and personal care categories. The idea of ‘why consumers buy what they buy’ intrigues her the most.
